Tire size charts

A Tire Size Chart displays the metric tire size designations or the inch tire size designations with the following tire measures:

  • OD - Overall Tire Diameter,
  • SW - Section width,
  • AR - Aspect Ratio,
  • RD - Rim/Wheel Diameter,
  • SH - Section/Sidewall height,
  • CI - Tire circumference,
  • RE - Revolutions per mile/km;

All the aforementioned tire measures are presented both in the metric and in the imperial/English/standard units.

The tire size designations listed in the Tire size chart are the real tire sizes which you can find in a store.

The tire sizes are grouped by a rim diameter or by an overall tire diameter. There is one chart for each rim/overall diameter, which you can select by clicking the appropriate link. Every chart displays only the tire sizes which have the selected rim/overall diameter along with belonging tire measures.

The chart data can be sorted and filtered.

Tire size conversion charts

The Tire Size Conversion Chart - Metric to Inches, displays the metric tire size designations in the left chart column and for each metric tire size designation shows the equivalent - exact calculated inch tire size in the right chart column.

The tire size designations listed in the left column are the real metric tire sizes which you can find in a store.

The equivalent inch tire sizes presented in the right column of the chart are not the real tire sizes which you can buy in a store, these are only a hints.

The Tire Size Conversion Chart - Inches to Metric, displays the inch tire size designations in the left chart column and for each inch tire size designation shows the equivalent - exact calculated metric tire size in the right chart column.

The tire size designations listed in the left column are the real inch tire sizes which you can find in a store.

The equivalent metric tire sizes presented in the right column of the chart are not the real tire sizes which you can buy in a store, these are only a hints.

The metric/Inch tire size designations presented in the left chart column are grouped by a rim diameter or by an overall tire diameter - there is one chart for each rim/overall tire diameter, which you can select by clicking the appropriate link.

Sorting and filtering chart data

The chart data in the Tire size charts or the Tire size conversion charts can be sorted by each column with a click on the appropriate column heading.

The currently active sort order is shown by the orange arrow in the relevant column heading; up means ascending, down means descending.

You can change the sort order of data in a column (ascending/descending) by repeated click on the same column heading.

Also, you can use the filter field to filter chart data - to display only a subset of data.
